Shipping Terms and Conditions

ETA

First come, first served. We follow an order list and update your order accordingly through our Headlight Tracker. Orders take 10-15 weeks. By you signing and reading our policy/ terms and conditions you accept the ETA and there are no refunds or cancellations after payment is completed. We include free ground shipping, but you can pay additionally for expedited service when your order is ready to ship. We recommend you place a deposit for your order to secure an earlier spot on the list if you need your order sooner. This way, we can build your headlights in the regular timeframe but still make it in time for your desired time of arrival.

By purchasing our already made items you know is an already made item and we will ship it as is as you see it on our site. Already made items make take 1-3 months. If the customer wants to modify items we can do it but it will have to be by customer request only. Please note we do not ship any custom headlights unseal unless the customer requests it and if the customer does, please be aware that you will not have a warranty on the custom build item you requested. Our company will check every item before we ship to assure the best quality and customer satisfaction. The customer is aware that the warranty is Standard shipping is automatically applied every day to all orders within the United States territory including Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii. Valid for standard shipping to one destination only. Orders usually arrive within 30 business days but most complicated retrofits involve more work and can take up to 1-3 months. When there is an order paid and customers want to add more items to the existing order, the time frame for the whole project can be around three and a half months. Not transferable and not redeemable for cash or credit towards previous purchases. Valid only on HIDRetrofitkit.com. Void where prohibited. Some restrictions apply. We reserve the right to cancel or modify this offer at any time. If you placed an order and wanted to know the status of it, please check your email for tracking information If you need assistance visit our Contact Page. Custom headlight orders usually ship as agreed but we reserve the necessary time required to complete your project to make sure the lights come out the way they should and that you are 100% happy with our services and products. Parts and accessories ship the same day if placed by 12:00 PM Eastern Time. Orders placed after 12:00 PM ship the following day, excluding weekends. Orders placed on the weekend ship the next Monday. We make every effort to ship all orders within 24 hours. An email is sent to confirm that your request was received and in progress. All items on our site are in stock unless stated otherwise in the product listing. Another email will be sent to you with the tracking information when your order ships. Overnight and 2-Day shipping options are available to destinations within the USA. Worldwide Over Night and 2-Day shipments ship via UPS delivers in 1 or 2 Business days (not weekends). If you need Saturday delivery, you must request it either in our order form “comments” box or by calling us. Saturday delivery usually costs about twice as much as regular business day delivery. We will quote Saturday delivery upon request.

We will ship by USPS to almost anywhere in the world. Overseas customers, please select the USPS First Class Mail International, USPS Priority Mail, or USPS Express Mail International option. Additional shipping charges may apply. USPS First Class Mail International shipping may take 5~10 days to arrive and cannot be tracked. USPS Priority Mail takes around 5-7 days to reach and cannot be tracked. USPS Express Mail International delivery time is 3~4 days and can be tracked. We highly recommend USPS Express Mail International for orders shipped out of the United States. We are not responsible for lost orders if you select the USPS First Class Mail International shipping option or USPS Priority. THE TWO-DAY OPTION IS FOR THE USA ONLY. If you prefer DHL or Fed Ex, indicate this in the “comments” box on the order form, and we will confirm the price by email.
Canada
Overnight and 2-Day shipping is not available to CANADA.
Please note that if you select UPS, Canadian Customs will charge additional duty tax.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Credit card information is never stored anywhere on our premises or online server. Credit Card information is transmitted securely using 256-bit encryption.
PayPal
Select PayPal on the order form. Your order will not be processed or shipped until payment is received and verified. You will not be able to modify your shipping address once submitted.

Installation Instructions

We encourage our customers to install the custom headlamps on their own and we build the custom headlamps ready for a basic installation that anyone at home can do with simple tools and directions we provide by email by customer’s request only. No instructions are provided within the box since every headlamp we build is different. We only show general information on the installation pages for quick reference. We feel that you as the customer following our instructions can do as good or better than most local installers but if you have a good installer that you can trust you can also put us in contact and we can assist the installer as long as they take the time to follow our instructions, please research your installer as sometimes some won’t follow direct instructions. Always warn your installer not to do any modifications to the headlamps or wiring we provide as this may cause installation problems of failure of the components within the lamps. You are our priority and we are here to help you and stay by your side until you are 100% satisfied with our product and service.

Custom Headlights Policy

Customized Headlights, Finished Retrofit Line or any headlamps on the site are not returnable/refundable. With this being said, you agree with our policy before making any purchases/payments under the impression that you cannot return your merchandise for a refund or get a refund/partial refund under any circumstances.

The core charge option means we provide brand new lamps for the order and then the customer send back their original stock lamps (lamps must be brand new, no damage, no scratches, no melted lens or plastic no issues at all in order to get the $300 otherwise no refund will be done and we will return items back when the customer pay for the shipping.

To ensure our transparency in our business we allow our clients to service their headlights under the limited lifetime warranty by fixing any craftsmanship defects and lighting components ( add-ons) can be replaced under a one-year warranty at no cost except for the shipping to us, we will pay for the shipping back minus headlamp lens cover glass. Orders that need service under warranty for Customized Headlights can take up to 4 weeks or longer depending on how many orders we are processing at the time. Lifetime warranty headlights covered anything that is added inside the lamps including projectors, led halos, led strips, led demon eyes, custom paint, custom side markers, and custom 3D Gill lights. Please note due to all lamps housing we used are aftermarket brands and they come with a clear coat of 1-2 years of life., clear coat is highly recommended to avoid lights from peeling off the clear or getting yellowish on the glass inside or outside lens this is due to the sun and paint after 6 months of use. Please note this can also happen to factory OEM lamps housing due to the sun as well but it will take more time to actually show in the lenses because it comes with a better clear coat from the manufacturer that can last over 4 years. Most orders ship within twenty-two days, but more involved retrofits can take up to two or 9 weeks for us to ship. We do try to fix them as soon as they arrive so you can go back to enjoying them. We make individual notes about these situations because there are uncontrollable times when a headlight can get damaged in shipping etc. We have vast experience in building Customized Headlights, and we don’t ship lights with defects. We make sure every order is always perfect before it leaves our warehouse. We only use the top brands to do the custom retrofit lights for all cars unless the customer is willing to send their OEM housing to get the work done in their Factory OEM lights.

A copy of the invoice is required for warranty repairs or replacements. Unless otherwise noted, all products are warranted for one year from the date of purchase which is the same warranty we get from the manufacturer where we order products from. Warranty is void when products are used in applications that they are not intended for, such as using our LED Car Bulbs in forms other than the replacement of standard car bulbs in conventional vehicles. Please call or email to notify us before returning items for warranty repair or exchange. Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. All product specifications are subject to change without notice.

Warranty  Term

All our products are warranted for life from the date of purchase. You have a lifetime warranty on workmanship labor and parts.

Warranty Void

We will not honor the warranty on your custom-made headlamps if you do not honor your agreement to our policy by trying to start a claim, court case, or stop payment in any way. The same will happen if you modify our product without our consent.

Cancellation Policy

We do not accept order cancellations under any circumstance even if an item was just ordered within 24 hrs or 72 hrs. We order parts right away after your order is placed so we cannot cancel any orders no matter how recently it was placed. There is a lot of time involved in taking, processing, and gathering all the necessary parts for your order. This is a custom-made item (hand made) Once your order is placed you are legally bound to the transaction. With this being said, you agree with our policy before making any purchases/payments under the impression that you cannot return your merchandise for a refund or get a refund/partial refund under any circumstances. If order is placed by Paypal Invoice request., Paypal invoices will have a policy stating no cancellation or refunds once the invoice is paid. With this being said, you are legally bound to the transaction. With this being said, you agree with our policy before making any purchases/payments under the impression that you cannot return your merchandise for a refund or get a refund/partial refund under any circumstances.

When you receive a product from us and for any reason is not what you wanted please just contact us and we will get it resolved by making any necessary changes or fixes to your order as needed to ensure you are 100% satisfied with the product. We always take the time to make sure the customer gets exactly what was ordered and we provide pictures before shipment to double-check it looks correct. With this being said, you agree with our policy before making any purchases/payments under the impression that you cannot return your merchandise for a refund or get a refund/partial refund under any circumstances.

Return Merchandise for Fix or Replacement

Services are not returnable or eligible for any refunds or exchanges. The customer is responsible for shipping costs. However, if the exchange is necessary because of our mistake, we will cover all shipping charges involved excluding shipping issues/damages to items during shipping. For any items that are received damaged during shipping, you must contact us immediately at info@hidretrofitkit.com so we can proceed with claim insurance and help with the replacement or fixing of items. If you are inexperienced with shipping, please stop by your local USPS, UPS, or FedEx store, they will properly package your headlamps so they will be safe in transit. We suggest customers choose a regular mail service to avoid high costs for the package. Hid retrofit kit only looks after good packaging items to avoid damage to the inside items. With this being said., any service, any courier is OK to use. If you are packing yourself, please use bubble wrap and packing peanuts inside the box. Remove any tabs that are removable, but do not remove any bulbs, wiring harnesses, or ballasts. Make sure the headlamps so do move around in the box by adding additional packing peanuts. We are not responsible for any damages that occur in shipping. We use the same packing materials that the customer uses, if you want your lamps to arrive in one piece, be sure to use all the appropriate materials to protect them! Before closing the box, please print out a paper with the following information: service request, contact info, and any other special instructions. You are responsible for any shipping or import fees to and from our location as a customer.

Discounts

Quantity Discounts (Wholesale Pricing)
We only offer discounts based on volume. Our online shopping cart will automatically apply discounts. Discount pricing can be found on specific product pages by clicking the link that says “Quantity Discount Pricing.” Typically, items are discounted 10% at 50+ pcs, 20% at 100+ pcs, 25% at 500+ pcs, 30% at 1000+ pcs. For larger quantity pricing or for items that our shopping cart does not apply discounts for, you may visit our Contact Page and make sure “Pricing” is selected in the inquiry drop-down.

Promotional Discounts

We do not provide Promotional codes upon request; Please do not contact us requesting a promotional code. Occasionally, promotional discount codes can be found in print or online advertisements, sent via email, or available through other events or mediums. These systems are typically used to receive a percentage discount off your order. This discount is applied to all other discounts. Promotional Codes may be discontinued at any time without notice.
